Page Four Write and Upload Once you have content of some sort, you need to write the html code (web page) and then upload the html page(s) and multimedia (.jpg pictures, etc) to your web host. You can write the html code yourself or have some type of software write it for you, or write and upload it. NVU is another web page builder that will make a web page for you with no knowledge of html. You must download and install it. To get the windows version click the download with the windows logo or that says windows. It is a very basic program. If you have made or updated your site with NVU, click save (it saves a copy on your computer), then click publish to upload it to your webspace. Fill out the info it asks. In the ftp field put yoursitename.com (for first time under settings). yoursitename meaning the name of your website. If you have a .net .biz or other extension, use that instead of the .com Remember your first page must be named index.html Our hosting plans include free software/applications. Be sure to choose Linux or Windows ASP depending on which applications you need.
